I used to throw away trash all the time as a kid not realizing how disrespectful it is to throw away trash in home that welcomes you and gives you food and life.
I do my best to be nice and tell people to please not throw away trash when i see them do it, although i sometimes feel like screaming at them lol. Imagine going to a family members house and just tossing your empty water bottles on their floors instead of asking if they have a trash.
I hope this piece helps others reflect on how their actions can be in alignment with leaving this world a bit better than how we found it.
